Joyful Typography

Typography I, Fall 2015
Instructor: Prof. Anthony Inciong
Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Poster assembled in Adobe InDesign

This is a process poster that showcases all of my design work and assignments created in Typography I. Type has always been an insecurity of mine, and is still a skill I am working on. For this project I really wanted to put the focus on the works, and the process sketches that I made for the projects. The process sketches and thumbnails–the first step in the design process–is in the background. My calligraphy work is on the next layer, my final designs in the foreground, and my hand at the top, representing that all the work is made and created by me. The three paragraphs at the bottom of the poster describe my thoughts on typography, what I learned in the class, and my concept behind this process poster.
